The College Football Playoff selections are set for Sunday, Dec. 8. That’s when the entire 12-team bracket will be revealed, along with the final top 25 rankings from the selection committee.

The show is four hours long from 12 to 4 p.m.

ET, and after the 12-team Playoff is announced, the rest of the bowl game schedule will steadily roll out throughout the afternoon.
The main coverage group will be led by Rece Davis with Kirk Herbstreit, Joey Galloway, Booger McFarland and Greg McElroy.
Nick Saban, Pete Thamel and Heather Dinich and reporters at team sites will also be involved.
College Football Playoff History and New Rules
The College Football Playoffs has been around since the 2014 season, but this is the first year it has a 12-Team field.
